Drone News and Quadcopter News

Drone NewsThe sheer popularity of small civilian drones has taken the world by storm, especially in the US. In 2010, the FAA estimated that by 2020 there would be about 15,000 drones. As of 2015, more than 15,000 drones are sold each month. As a result of their rapid growth and number of sales, drone news has become a popular topic on major news outlets.Drones are constantly in the news, and often for many different reasons, and often for very controversial reasons. Drones are being used by commercial businesses to change the way we see and interact with the world. Drones are opening up new job opportunities, and allowing businesses to take new approaches to various jobs. Drones are also being used by police and rescue workers for surveillance and in rescue operations.

Drones are also being used extensively by photographers to get aerial photos of locations. This type of photography and video has been extremely expensive in the past, but with the new camera equipped drones on the market, costs have been drastically reduced.

Controversial Drone News

As with any new technology, drone news has also been full of situations where drone owners have been using drones for less popular reasons as well. This includes mainly invasion of privacy scenarios where people have been filmed without their consent and often in their own homes. The news media has jumped all over this, and unfortunately has a caused a bit of public panic about the topic. This has resulted in a somewhat negative view from the public concerning drones in general.

Last Drone Product News

Another popular topic in drone news is announcements and features on all the new models coming out. The number of businesses getting into the drone market has grown exponentially over the past few years. Just a few years ago, DJI and Parrot where the two main brands, but not today. Manufacturers from all over the world have jumped in, and as a result innovation and technical advances has grown as well. New drone models are being released all the time, and with each new release features increase, and costs come down.

One thing for sure is that as Drones continue to gain in popularity, they’ll continue to be a major part of news. Drone news has become a key category for many major news outlets, and drones continue to make headlines, both in good and bad ways.
